Pathway to Economic Freedom
It’s not enough to wait for industrial growth to come to the Copper country. With the national economy flat lined, community leaders must proactively make it happen.
Tourism - Copper Country’s primary industry - is dependent on the rest of the U.S. economy. Only manufacturing industries will turn around a stagnant region - and it can’t be “any old manufacturing” strategy.
County & local governments, as well as commercial, nonprofit & private stakeholders, are encouraged to assist small manufacturers & startup industrialists to set up shop in Keweenaw, Houghton & Ontonagon counties.
We have identified the energy & transportation sectors as key markets that the world wants to buy into:
- Renewable energy
- Solar district heating
- New vehicle products
Copperland Corporation brings new technical know-how to grow the Copper Country into an economic powerhouse.
